Specifications include, but are not limited to: WINTERIZING: 3 Pools – (Lap – 140,000gals, Training – 60,000gals, Wading – 7,500gals) 1. Blow out filter lines 2. Drain the pumps, strainer baskets, chemical feeder lines as required, using an air compressor. 3. Disconnect chemical feeders and store away. 4. Disconnect and store pump motors (optional) 5. Open drain-offs and drain the automatic water level control pot, fill spout line (not including the freshwater line), filters. 6. Remove overflow plug and install all Winterizing plugs. 7. Remove and store on premises all mechanical equipment including chemical feeders, analyzers, flow meters, and appropriate gauges. 8. Remove ladders and handrails and place them in designated storage area. 9. Add winterizing chemicals to the pool including chlorine briquettes container, winter algaecide. NOTE: - Owners chemicals will be used, if available. Otherwise contractor will supply required chemicals and client will be invoiced separately. - Additional parts/materials if needed will be invoiced separately 10. Install owner’s mesh covers for all three pools. 11. Install Sump Pump to Surge Tank SUMMERIZING: 3 Pools – (Lap – 140,000gals, Training – 60,000gals, Wading – 7,500gals) 1. Remove all pool covers and store away. 2. Reinstall all filter equipment removed during the Winterization. 3. Check connections and valve positions. 4. Reconnect all chemical feeders and pump motors 5. Remove all Winterizing plugs and install overflow plugs 6. Start filters system and check operation. Adjust valves if necessary. 7. Add Summarizing chemicals to the pool including liquid chlorine, algaecide, de-mineralizer, Clarifier, and other chemicals as needed to balance pH, Total Alkalinity and Calcium Hardness. NOTE: - Owner’s chemicals will be used, if available. Otherwise contractor will supply required chemicals and client will be invoiced separately. - Additional parts/materials if needed will be invoiced separately 8. Special equipment to be put into service. 9. Remove Sump Pump from Surge Tank.
