Specifications include, but are not limited to: iamond or other Grinding: Contractor must have verifiable government experience with sales, installation, maintenance, repairs, and parts associated with Concrete Flooring. This includes Grinding. Contractor must have experience and equipment to perform Diamond or other grinding techniques. Floor preparation: Contractor must have experience with government agencies in regard to sales, installation, maintenance, repairs, and parts associated with Floor Preparation. Grease removal, crack repair, minor leveling, salt rock chipping, flaking, etc. are needed on most floors within the Region. The expectation is that the vendor has the equipment and skill level to address all needed floor preparations. Painting/Staining: Contractor must have experience with government agencies in regards to painting, staining, finishing, and polishing at various locations throughout the Region boundaries. Multiple color schemes must be available to the end user for both paint on and concrete staining processes. All finishes must be heavy duty commercial grade. Clear coats/hardener/finishes: Contractor must have experience with government agencies in regards to sales, installation, maintenance, repairs, and parts associated with concrete finishes. All final coatings/finishes must be hardened, and be of heavy duty commercial grade. Additional Requirements: Additional items not specifically listed here, but required for proper installation, repair, and use of concrete flooring are authorized for purchase with approval. The purchase of future items not listed in the bid that are required for installation and maintenance of concrete flooring, purchase will be authorized at the users discretion. This would include instances of concrete overlays, chips added to finishes, etc.
