Specifications include, but are not limited to: The UDWR along with the United States Forest Service is requesting services for an aerial application of seed on 640 acres located on lands in Garfield County, Utah. AERIAL SEED APPLICATION SPECIFICATIONS - Project: Lower Bowns Treatment Location: This project is on lands located approximately fifteen (15) miles south of Torrey, UT and beginning three (3) miles east of Hwy 12. Elevation is approximately 7,400 feet with moderately rolling topography. The Wayne Wonderland airport (38U) is located approximately 18 miles from the project area. 640 acres Bids are to be submitted on a cost per acre basis. Application will be at the rate of 3.6 lbs per acre. DWR will provide the seed and deliver it to the appropriate Loading Zone for the application flight. N/A The aircraft must be equipped with a global positioning system that is used to establish flight lines for 100% coverage. DWR will provide to the Contractor an electronic file containing coordinate positions of treatment areas and treatment area polygons in an ARC/INFO GIS format. The Contractor shall provide a Trimble, ARC/INFO or ARCVIEW electronic file in UTM projection North America Datum 1983 of treatment coverage upon completion of each treated area or as required by the Contracting Officer. A government representative shall monitor the Contractors GPS to assure Contractors compliance with contract specifications. 2,240 lbs.
