Specifications include, but are not limited to: Mathematical Instructional Material Specifications The Respondent shall provide a mathematics program the meets the following criteria: a. Aligns with the Iowa Core Mathematics Standards. b. Aligns with and utilizes the Standards for Mathematical Practice. c. Instruction the utilizes mathematical content vocabulary. d. Provides opportunities for differentiation with special populations, including multi-language learners, and learners with disabilities. e. Provides districts with online and digital components. f. Allows teachers to access all manuals, instructional materials, and content using a learning management system. g. Provides number sense and fluency routines for students that align with the program and skills students are learning. h. Intervention materials to address areas of mathematics, conceptual understanding, procedural fluency and real-world application. i. Includes diagnostic, formative, and summative assessments to inform instruction. j. Provides various authentic problem-solving opportunities for students. k. Provides support for implementation of materials.
