Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor’s Goods provided under any resulting Contract must meet the following minimum requirements; and shall comply with all applicable Federal, State, and local mandatory requirements and regulations relating to the preparation, packaging, labeling, storage, distribution, and sale of the Goods listed in this ITB within the commercial marketplace. Delivered Goods shall comply with all applicable provisions of the FD&C, the Fair Packaging a nd Labeling Act, and regulations promulgated thereunder. 4.11 GOOD(S) SPECIFICATIONS FOR: Mayonnaise Lite 4.11.1 Goods MUST comply with the minimum USDA Commercial Item Description (CID) A-A-20140E As listed in Section 4.11.1.1: 4.11.1.1 Goods must be 100% real Type 1 Mayonnaise; Flavor A Plain; Type II Salad Dressing; Style 2, “Reduce Fat”; Style 4, “Light”, and meet Code of Federal Regulation (CFR) 21 CFR 101.62 for nutrient content claims for fat, fatty acid, and cholesterol content of foods. 4.11.1.2 Goods must be processed from food grade starches and vegetable oils with no separation of the oil and water. 4.11.1.3 Flavored Goods or Goods labeled and designated as “Fat Free” will not be accepted. 4.11.1.4 Goods fat content must be less than 65% per 21 CFR 101.62; and must comply with the allergen labeling requirements of the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act. MARGARINE/BUTTER MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 4.11.1.1 Goods processed with oil MUST meet the standard USDA specifications for vegetable oil margarine and processed from one of the following vegetable oils: canola, safflower, sunflower, corn, palm, or soybean 4.11.1.1.1 Goods to have a minimum of 80% fat for any of these oils 4.11.1.2 Goods must be U.S. Grade A or better as defined in the U.S. Standards for Grades of Butter; and must allow for freezing without discoloring 4.11.1.3 Goods to be packed in one (1) pound prints Good(s) MUST be unsalted. Salted Product will not be accepted for this ITB 4.11.1.5 ODOC will not accept any Goods that contain peanut oil 4.11.1.6 Reduced-fat, light/lower fat, or fat-free Goods will not be accepted 4.12 ESTIMATED DELIVERED QUANTITY PER GOOD ITEM: 4.12.1 Mayonnaise Lite: An estimated five (5) FTL are required for this item listed in Section 5, “Pricing Page”. For purposes of this ITB Line item # an FTL is estimated at 1200 cases (40,000 pounds). ARO, one (1) FTL to be delivered within 30 days. Remaining FTL’s to be delivered 30-45 days apart, after previous shipment until the contracted quantity of Goods(s) has been fully received and accepted by ODOC. The Purchase order issued to the awarded Bidder will indicate the delivery dates and must be confirmed with the ODOC warehouse receiving staff. 4.12.2 Margarine/ Butter: An estimated five (5) FTL are required for this item listed in Section 5, “Pricing Page”.
