Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Irrigation For West ITC and South GYM • Install Turf and Flower Bed Irrigation for 10 areas along South GYM and West ITC area. • Areas may be added together to reduce amount of zones. 2 flower areas (8 and 9) run together, area 10 separate zone. • 7 turf zones will be a combination of spray and rotor heads. • Supply line is in area #2. There is existing two wire and a 2” line with 1 ½” quick coupler. Use existing controller at CTE building, Install 2" Isolation Valve at connection point. • Will require using Rainbird heads and Hunter valves. • Will require an as-built drawing upon completion and before final check is paid. • Minimum 10” depth on piping. • Use rotors in turf areas 2,3,6. 6” sprays in turf areas 1, 4, 5, and 7. • 12” sprays in all landscape areas 8, 9, and 10. • Quick coupler will need to be installed at the mainline termination point at south end of addition. 3” Sleeve installed under walks if possible. B. Landscape for Haun Hill • Install Approximately 320 linear feet of metal edging • 3 areas to be filled with topsoil and sodded include: 30' x 10' area at top of hill, 60' x 3' area on west side of hill, 40' x 3' area on east side of hill. • Removal of all juniper and yew shrubs from around hornbeam tree to the bottom of the hill. • Install listed plant material and mulch entire area. Will be: 1. 6 'Orchid Satin' Rose of Sharon 2. 6 'Blue Satin' Rose of Sharon 3. 6 Baby Blue Eyes Spruce 4. 15 'Carolina Red' Dwarf Crepe Myrtle. • Awarded vendor will be responsible for Main Utilities locates. JCCC will locate local utilities (Electrical lines for lights, irrigation, etc). C. Landscape and Irrigation for Library Hill • Move existing irrigation line at base of Hill along paver walkway for installation of limestone wall. • Reinstall with spray heads along the top of wall. • JCCC will locate and cap existing lateral line supply to lower area. • Remove existing rotors on top part of hill and replace with 6" spray heads. • Wall will be installed with a 3" gravel base of ¾" clean gravel using 9" limestone rock on campus. • Maximum 3 courses on north end reducing down to 1 course on south end. Maximum width of 2 ½’. • Will need to install heavy fabric under gravel base and behind wall to provide drainage. • Chip gaps between rocks. Use fabric and rock chips to slow drainage on back side of gaps. Plants will be placed in between rocks. • Purchase, plant, and mulch entire area from provided plant list.
