Specifications include, but are not limited to: The following is a summary of the anticipated services in the areas designated above associated with this project: A. Review and evaluate pre-disaster and current conditions. B. Provide consulting services during FEMA disaster relief funding negotiations including cost estimating and documentation of restoring the damaged areas up until the time FEMA approves the proposed scope of work. C. Evaluate and design temporary repair and stabilization of the damaged areas so that the roadways and beach areas can be safely opened prior to final design repair. D. Evaluate cost-effective repair alternatives considering resiliency to future storm events, prepare cost estimates, and summarize the repair alternatives and cost estimates in an engineering report. Include all services necessary to complete a detailed cost-effective repair alternatives analysis. E. Provide permit outreach to all applicable environmental regulatory agencies, prepare and submit any and all permit applications needed for temporary repair and stabilization, and evaluate permits needed for final design construction and their approximate approval timelines.
