Specifications include, but are not limited to: UCA is looking to hire a contractor with extensive radio site construction experience to build a new communications site near Notch Peak in Millard County. The communications site will be complete with radio equipment shelter and foundation, generator shelter and foundation, generator, propane tank, solar panels, and 80’ tower. General • Project to be Completed by June 17th, 2024. • Some site components are pending delivery, start date contingent upon arrival of parts, weather, and site accessibility. • Site layout drawings and overlay in ATTACHMENT B. • Install UCA provided 80’ Sabre self supporting lattice tower, tower accessories, and tower foundation. • Install UCA provided 6’ microwave dish, MW radios, ice shield and LMR cables. • Install UCA provided 24” X 10’ section of ice bridge and supports. • Form and pour concrete foundations for equipment shelter and generator shelters. • Deliver and install on site, UCA provided 24’ X 12’ prefabricated equipment shelter. • Assemble UCA provided 12’ X 9’ Enviro brand generator shelter. • Install UCA provided 25 KW Generac generator and associated components. • Install UCA provided 1000 gallon propane tank and prefabricated tank pads. • Install fuel line from propane tank to shelter. • Install conduits for high and low voltage from equipment shelter to generator shelter. • Install ductless mini split HVAC system in communications shelter. • Install 20” external ground bar. • Install 20” tower ground bar. • Install UCA provided solar panels, bracketing and support pipes as per ATTACHMENT C. • Run conduits and conductors from solar panels to communication shelter. • Electrical work generator room. • Site Grounding to L3 Harris Grounding Specifications Manual T4618 Revision F. Electronic version of manual will be distributed on request. • All construction, electrical and grounding elements will be approved by UCA. • Photos of trench work, conduits and all grounding must be taken prior to backfilling. • Work area must be kept clean and free of debris. • Contractors must adhere to BLM issued Right Of Way rules and procedures. UCA to provide contractor with a copy of the R.O.W. • All UCA provided parts to be picked up by contractor at UCA warehouse located at 31 North Cutler Drive, North Salt Lake UT, and coordinated with UCA warehouse manager Taylor Carroll via email at tcarroll@uca911.org or phone at 385-266-0625. • Contractor to sign Short Form Construction Contract, ATTACHMENT J.
