Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Gain a clear understanding (discovery) of TUSD’s schools and the environment within which TUSD operates to serve Tucson families. • Engagement of families recently departing TUSD schools (last 12 to 18 months) to identify reasons/themes for departures, that can then be used to inform recommended changes within TUSD schools and departments. • Formal presentation to TUSD Board, leadership, and community on recommended changes to implement to better serve families and to increase likelihood of student retention. • Recommendations for ongoing mechanisms to ensure implemented changes are consistently being practiced, including feedback loops for Tucson families being served. • Any recommendations on marketing strategies and messaging to the Tucson community would also be welcomed and considered in the consultant selection process.
