Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Vendor must continually maintain accreditation as a PT provider throughout the contracting period o Vendor’s accreditation must be from a nationally recognized PT provider accrediting body such as, but not limited to: A2LA, ANAB, PJLA, TNI o Vendor’s PT provider scope of accreditation must include a scheme for asbestos in bulk materials • Vendor’s asbestos PT program must offer a minimum of two (2), maximum of four (4) PT studies per year as part of a scheduled, routine PT program o At a minimum, PT studies must be offered at a frequency of every 6 months ± 1 month • Each PT study must include a minimum of two (2) and a maximum of four (4) samples • Each PT study must consist of at least one “negative” sample (i.e. no asbestos present) and at least one “positive” sample (i.e. asbestos containing material) • Each PT sample substrate (i.e. matrix) must consist of real building materials • PT program must include written, objective, pass/fail criteria for assessing PT study performance, including a determination of proficiency status • Vendor must offer a secure online portal for reporting PT results • Vendor must present PT study results to DEQ within 45 days of each study’s closing date which includes statistical evaluation of the results, the collective demographics and a results summary of all study participants
