Specifications include, but are not limited to: The SW Magazine Road & SW State Street Intersection Improvements - West Leg project includes widening SW Magazine Road to add a second eastbound through lane, beginning approximately 575 feet west of SW State Street in the City of Ankeny. The construction improvements include approximately 230 SY of 9” thick PCC Class C-SUD street pavement, 1,130 SY of 8” thick PCC Class C-SUD street pavement, and the relocation of the existing traffic signal pole and mast arm at the southeast corner of SW Magazine Road & SW State Street. Other associated improvements include Class 10 excavation, subgrade preparation, granular subbase, paved medians, driveways, sidewalks, pedestrian ramp improvements, relocation of pedestrian push buttons, pavement markings, temporary and permanent surface restoration, temporary traffic control, mobilization, and miscellaneous associated work necessary to complete the project.
