The Commonwealth of Kentucky, Finance & Administration Cabinet, Division of Engineering & Contract Administration (DECA) is seeking professional design services for the Kentucky Department of Parks. The Department of Parks is currently reviewing multiple locations for various repairs and/or replacements to the building HVAC equipment and controls. Parks is developing a list and prioritizing it based on most critical need. At this time, Barron River State Resort Park, Pennyrile State Resort Park, General Butler State Resort Park, and Rough River State Resort Park are currently top priority and need to be reviewed as part of this scope. Other locations may also be added. The request is for the respondent to investigate the current state of mechanical and controls systems within the Lodges and design systems to replace them. If needed, investigation could be expanded to include other on-site buildings including, but not limited to, convention centers or cabins. Proposed design solutions should maintain a level of operational consistency across parks. DECA reserves the option to increase scope as funding becomes available.
