Comply with NFPA 70, National Electrical Code (NEC), NFPA 1, Fire Code, NFPA 704, Standard System for the Identification of the Hazards of Materials for Emergency Response, and NAVSEA S9310-AQ-SAF-010 for battery room design requirements. a. Note that battery storage will not be inside a building, so the NFPA requirements may not apply. b. Transportable on a public highway. 3. Battery Storage must be operational 24/7, 365 days a year. All maintenance and testing must be completed by a qualified vendor. 4. All maintenance should be in accordance with UFC 3-520-05, NFPA 70, NEC, and IEEE. The following maintenance is to be included but not limited to: a. Duct cleaning and inspection b. Mechanical system inspection and repair as necessary c. Fire system inspection and repair as necessary d. Lighting system inspection and repair v1.1 6 as necessary
