From previous work within the park, it is assumed that there is potential for archaeological resources within the project location. The proposer will provide an archaeology report and assist MnDot CRU to apply for a Section 106 Review. The Archaeology Report will include, but is not limited to: literature assessment, shovel test pits (as required), assisting the owner in Tribal Historic Preservation Officer (THPO) engagement, Phase I and Phase II (if needed) Archaeological Assessment. The archaeology report will need to submit to MnDot CRU. MnDot CRU will reach out to THPO and submit to MN State Historical Preservation Office (SHPO) review to process Section 106.
