Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Tempe (City) is issuing this Request for Quotation (RFQ) to establish a term contract for maintenance and repair services for a total of four (4) Karcher floor scrubbers with three (3) located at the East Valley Bus Operations and Maintenance facility (EVBOM) and one (1) located at the Tempe Transportation Center (TTC). The resulting contract shall be for a period of two years with three, one-year renewal options as provided for in the Special Terms and Conditions section in this RFQ. The Contractor shall perform the manufacturer specified quarterly preventative maintenance services on Karcher floor scrubbers including, but not limited to, the following: • Check floor scrubber operation and drive modes. • Check drain cap and hoses. • Drain and clean solution tank. • Check and clean spray nozzles and bars. • Check all squeegees for wear and damage. • Check and lubricate squeegee caster wheels and pivot points. • Check side and rear squeegees for deflection and leveling. • Check all scrub brushes for wear and tear. • Check scrub brush drive motors and brushes. • Check recovery tank, level sensor, and vacuum filter. Drain and clean recovery tank and vacuum filter. • Clean solution tank and supply filter. • Check scrubber for leaks. • Check and clean debris troughs.
