Perform the removal and installation of the AHX1 Air Handler, fans, condensing units, piping, controls, etc. unit at Bethel High School. A. Work includes the removal and replacement of AHX-1 system including but not limited to the air handling unit, supply and return fans, supports, steel, condensing unit, all piping, ductwork, controls, etc. for a completely new and functional system. B. AHX-1, condensing unit, supply and return fans have been pre-purchased by the Town of Bethel. Contractor shall be assigned the purchase orders values, pick up the stored equipment which is at Marinos Riggers in Danbury, CT, bring to the site, rig equipment, install the equipment, coordinate manufacture start up, commissioning and hold the equipment warranty. Warranties are specified within the project specifications. C. The project schedule requires the air handling unit, supply fan, return fan, vfd’s, piping, ductwork, controls, etc. to be complete over the summer of 2024 to have the unit fully functioning prior to the start of school in August 2024. Contractor shall provide all labor and materials to facilitate this effort. Major construction activities shall start June 17 and be complete August 16 with a fully functional system for use for start of classes.
