Specifications include, but are not limited to: • This SFB and the contractor’s associated bid shall provide pricing for four existing window systems: o A - AEH Entry 2/Vending and sitting area o B - AEH 2nd Floor 2F3 o C – AEH 2nd Floor 2E3 o D – MB Entry 1 atrium and foyer • The College reserves the right to complete/perform single project all, or none of the projects based on received pricing. • It is the responsibility of the contractor to field verify measurements and evaluate existing site conditions to assure proper installation of new window system. A tour will be offered at the mandatory pre-bid conference. • New framing system, including glazing, doors and hardware, to match existing frames, glazing, doors and hardware (as identified on Exhibit A). Re-use existing atrium window frames and doors. Repair atrium window frames as required for new glazing. Glazing: • Window glass shall be of bronze tint to match Campus standards- to be field verified • Glass shall be insulated glass with the following unit specifications: o 1-inch o Outboard – ¼” (6mm) tinted glass o Air Space – ½” (12.7mm) o Inboard – ¼” clear (6mm) clear low-e glass • Glass shall have the following performance specifications: o Winter U-factor/U-value – 0.29 o Summer U-factor/U-value – 0.27 o Solar Hear Gain Coefficient – 0.32 o Shading Coefficient – 0.37 o Light to Solar Gain – 1.31 o Transmittance UV – 8% o Transmittance Visible – 42% o Transmittance Total Solar – 21% o Exterior Solar Reflectance – 16% o Exterior Visible Reflectance – 7% o Interior Visible Reflectance – 9% Frame: • Frame system to be Tubelite Inc. 400CW Series Curtainwall or approved equal. • Glazed aluminum framing shall be of a bronze color to match existing (contractor to field verify framing color). Installation: • Remove all existing frames (where designated) and glazing. Dispose of off-site. • Provide temporary partitions, opening protections, etc. to assure building security is maintained and to prevent the intrusion of weather elements (rain, snow, wind, etc.). • Furnish and install anchors, concrete inserts, sleeves, anchor bolts, metal plates and other accessories for proper attachment to existing construction. • Contractor to prepare and provide storefront shop drawings. • Contractor shall provide a minimum ten (10) year warranty on insulated glass units from the date of project completion. • Contractor shall clean interior and exterior glass and framing system upon installation completion. • Contractor shall clean, repair and/or paint walls, flooring, ceilings, masonry, etc. damaged or scuffed during removal of existing windows or installation of new window system. • Provide new graphics or signage as needed to match existing. • Contractor shall remove and re-install any electrical, low voltage, data, access control or life safety devices as required. Coordinate removal and re-installation through OCCC Facilities Management staff. • Product submittals must be submitted to and approved by Oklahoma City Community College’s Vice President of Facilities Management or their designee.
