Specifications include, but are not limited to: ❑ Conduct a complete inventory assessment, documenting District and manufacturer part numbers. ❑ Define a layout for the warehouse. ▪ Create a racking plan based on materials and anticipated usage to maximize efficiency, while factoring in future growth. ▪ Group materials based on current stock and future stocking strategies. ▪ Provide material layouts for indoor and outdoor storage areas. ▪ Establish a floor map identifying areas with restrictions or special uses. Ensure enough space between aisles for safe forklift use and warehouse equipment. ❑ Set-up warehouse and implement warehouse layout plans - Implementation-Two (2) weeks maximum. ▪ Move all inside and outside inventory into secure onsite project containers. ▪ Remove old racking or fixtures to prepare for new racking. ▪ Install new racking reusing existing racking as able. ▪ Paint floors to indicate specific areas according to floor mapping. ▪ Move inventory back into warehouse, stocking shelves according to the racking and material layout plan. ▪ Label shelves and bins for all materials ❑ Integrate barcode system with existing NISC enterprise to track and maintain inventory levels in iVUE. ❑ Contractor will have complete professional and technical responsibility for performance of all services in accordance with recognized prudent professional standards applicable in the industry, and in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, standards, and codes. ❑ Contractor shall take applicable precautions - including providing personal protective equipment - for the safety of their employees and comply with all safety standards and regulations. Contractor shall at all times take all reasonable precautions for the safety of employees on the work site and of the public, and shall comply with all applicable provision of Federal, State, and Municipal safety laws and building and construction codes.
