BNGC property consists of approx. 355 acres including building and pavement. 64.3 of these acres to be contracted finish mowing. Area map is provided and will show the actual mowing areas of the property. Grass height to be the same for all areas. Frequency will be the same for all areas. Limbs/sticks larger than 1” diameter and longer than 5’ will be removed by Boone Center staff. Hours of availability will be Monday thru Friday dusk to dark. Weekends must be scheduled 24 hours prior. Advanced notification will be 24 hours to prepare areas and determine that no activities are taking place. The designated restroom facilities will be The BNGC Pavilion. Possible portables stationed at the back of BNGC if necessary. Contract is for complete mowing, trimming and blowing off sidewalks and roadways. Rain-outs, mechanical breakdowns or other situations in which the entire job is not finished must be made up or billed at a percentage of completion rate. The rate to be agreed upon by successful vendor and facilities manager. Mow all turf areas on the BNGC campus as needed to maintain a turf height of 2”-4” as conditions dictate. Any bagged or caught clippings will be removed from site.
