The services should include, but not limited to: 1. Screening for eligibility under the San Juan County Indigent Burial/Cremation Policy. 2. Transportation of deceased individuals to the cremation facility. 3. Professional and respectful handling of the deceased individuals. 4. Cremation services in accordance with legal and ethical standards. 5. Coordinate with the New Mexico Office of Medical Investigator and comply with their standards and regulations. 6. Comply with NMSA 1978 Chapter 24 - Articles 12A, 12, and 13. 7. Adher to eligibility and regulations in the SJC Burial/Cremation Policy. 8. Provide the County with the name of the deceased, date of cremation, date of birth, date of death, and contact information for the next of kin.
