Cheesh’na Tribe requests the services of a Professional Engineer Consultant (Consultant) to develop the engineering design and riverine risk assessment report for the project. Task 1: Site Visit / Field Investigation a. Kick-off meeting with community stakeholders (including but not limited to the Tribe, City, and Corporation) to discuss community observations, photos, and records of past, current, and future flooding and erosion threats. Include meeting minutes in final report. b. Visually survey the reach of Chistochina river above, below, and through the community to observe bank material characteristics, observations and positions of historical flood levels, bank instability, erosion processes. Record observations and associated locations for inclusion in the trip report. c. Visually survey the Sinona Creek to observe bank material characteristics, observations and positions of historical flood levels, bank instability, erosion processes. Record observations and associated locations for inclusion in the trip report. d. Complete Hydraulic analysis to predict the maximum average velocity that occurs along the channel and, by extension, the bank where protective works could be constructed.
