Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Owner is seeking proposals for Wide Area Network connections and will accept proposals from Service Providers for Leased Lit solutions. The Respondent will include in their proposal all costs necessary to provide, construct, install, program, maintain, and monitor the services requested. All maintenance costs associated with any on-site premise equipment provided as an integral part of the Respondent’s proposed service shall be their sole responsibility. Per the requirement of the E-Rate Program, the services requested shall at no point now, or in the future, become the property of the Owner. The successful Respondent will include in their bid price, at a minimum, the following: 1. The First requested service: a Dedicated Internet Access at a minimum of 10Gbps of bandwidth (or higher) to Osborn School District Office located at 1226 W. Osborn Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85013. 2. Second requested service: The Owner is requesting proposals for two separate network design options with the requested service is as follows: a. Multipoint-to-Multipoint Lit Fiber service between the User Network Interface (UNI) at the Owner’s “Collector Sites” to the UNI(s) located at each of the sites as listed on Attachment “A” Site Schedule. (current design). b. RING Lit Fiber service between the User Network Interface (UNI) at the Owner’s “Hub Site” to the UNI(s) located at each of the sites as listed on Attachment “B” Site Schedule. The requested service is a network infrastructure transition from a Multi-Point-to-Multi-Point configuration to a Ring topology, emphasizing the need for survivability in the event of fiber path damage. c. The respondent is required to identify and select the most efficient route or pathway for optimal connectivity if the listed site schedule is deemed unideal. 3. The respondent is encouraged to submit an alternative network design proposal if they believe it can provide a more efficient solution than the one outlined in this RFP. Any proposed modifications should be clearly explained and justified in the response. 4. The Connections shall be a minimum of 500Mbps, or higher, unless otherwise noted on the “Attachment A – Site Schedule”. 5. The Owner is seeking to build out a private network, the respondent will provide a separate price for all one-time special construction and/or build-out costs, including but not limited to: conduit/trenching, interior pathways, cabling, terminations, construction of network facilities, route assessments, ROW access and/or easement assessments, traffic control and permits, surveys, testing, design and engineering, and project management to provide the requested service connection to the Owner’s designated demarcation point and also a separate proposal to amortize the cost of the construction into the monthly contract cost.
