Specifications include, but are not limited to: Renovate the restrooms at the Sarkeys Energy Center located on the University of Oklahoma Norman Campus as indicated in the attached 20-24 IFB Drawings and 20-24 IFB Specs. These attachments are located in the Buyer Attachment section of the solicitation. Work to be begin approximately 05/1/24 with a projected completion date of 8/31/2024. This project is to modernize and upgrade four public restrooms at Sarkeys Energy Center on OU’s Norman Campus. These renovations will benefit students, faculty, staff, and visitors to the College of Earth and Energy for years to come. Renovations will improve A.D.A. access at all four locations and bring the aesthetics of the spaces into the 21st century. The contractor awarded the bid will coordinate the demolition and construction schedule with FM’s Planning Office project manager. Project manager will include FM’s architect, electrical engineer, and mechanical engineer for technical question, problems, etc. to find the best solutions. FM project manager will provide and display all building permits. Lighting contractor will apply for any hot work permit through OU Fire Marshal office if needed. Coordinate with the University to identify improvements available within the market. Keep the University informed of significant changes and/or trends in the marketplace throughout the year and provide the University with an annual forecast of market conditions. Provide University employees with their rights under the law. Ensure that all Goods are well-maintained and provide support in case of any issues during the rental period, life of the contract, or other timeframe. Perform routine maintenance on the Goods to ensure safe and reliable operation. Repair or replace malfunctioning Goods as soon as possible. Deliver and pick up the Goods at specified locations.
