Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Bermuda North Bridge sod, 3/8” cut sand base, will be procured through the University of Kentucky and will be delivered (FBO) to the site for installation by the successful contractor of this RFP. Coordination of delivery date will be made between the University of Kentucky, the turf farm, and the successful contractor. It will be the responsibility of the successful contractor to coordinate with the Sod provider and The University of Kentucky Sports Turf Manager to make sure that installation is done correctly so that all warranties will be upheld. The University has procured Sod and Sod installation from a Sod Farm. The successful contractor from this RFP should use this Sod Farm for installation and should carry an allowance, that will be announced in an addendum once the award is made, for this installation. The successful awardee will contract with the successful Sod awardee for the installation of the Sod for this project using this allowance. Active member of the American Sports Builder Association (ASBA) with a minimum of one (1) Certified Field Builder (CFB) on staff who will be on site and responsible for all work performed. Additional services and requirements included, but not limited to: A. Provide detailed project record drawings for your scope of work. B. Provide all layout and supervision required to perform the work. C. Provide detailed site logistics plan for needed material/heavy equipment storage, field access needs, and coordination requirements with the adjacent softball facility. D. Clean up and demobilization. E. Provide a post-construction topographic conformance survey of the game field area up to the existing fencing and buildings.
