Specifications include, but are not limited to: The MN StoryCollective is a way for individuals and communities to share their stories and what these experiences mean to them and for this information to be used to improve State programs and services. It pairs a tool for collecting individuals’ stories with opportunities to interpret the data collected as well as opportunities for change within State systems. The stories are collected through an online tool, facilitated by community partner individuals/organizations. The tool may change slightly in 2024. The tool will be available to all state agencies to use with other planned engagement, and it will have the benefit of generating insights across agency siloes. This work is not a replacement for relationship-based community engagement; it is a way to increase understanding and action. The Departments, as led by the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE), requests proposals from individuals and organizations living, working and/or engaging with diverse socio, economic, and/or geographic communities throughout Minnesota (Responders) who can facilitate community outreach and engagement opportunities in support of the MN StoryCollective initiative.
