Specifications include, but are not limited to: This Request for Proposals is for qualified contractors who wish to submit proposals for the Rehabilitation of Irrigation Well at Rolling Meadows Golf Course. This project includes but not limited to: • Mobilize to site. • Set up and pull 600’ of pumping equipment. • Video inspect well. • Brush the entire well bore and bail fill. • Airshock well below the casing. • Install purge pump for chemical treatment. • Mix and inject acid solution. • Surge acid solution to ensure complete coverage. • Pump off chemicals, neutralize solution. • Remove purge pump. • Reinstall repaired/replaced pumping equipment setting pump at 630’. All drop pipe will be steel. It is probable 252’ feet of steel drop pipe can be reused but not the 340’ of plastic. • Test well for proper operation. • Site cleanup and demobilization. This scope assumes all other needed and necessary work not identified above to complete this rehabilitation work to result in a well production rate goal of at least 450 GPM would be included in the submitted proposals. It is expected all or some of the pump, bowls, motor, drop pipe, valves and wire will be replaced but upon inspection may be reused.
