Specifications include, but are not limited to: The project includes rehabilitation and/or replacement of the gravity thickener equipment and components; rehabilitation and/or replacement of the effluent tertiary filters equipment, media, and components; rehabilitation and/or replacement of the oxidation ditch equipment including replacement of the gearboxes with direct drive right-angle gearboxes and its components, new motors, new VFDs, and associated controls/wiring/electrical; the rehabilitation of the backwash tank and replacement of its components; the final clarifier no. 2 suction line replacement of approximately 90 lineal feet, associated fittings and connections; cleaning of the heavy sludge pipelines; preparation and application of painting with high-performance coatings of the walls, floors, ceilings, piping, valves, bases, pumps, hoppers, and equipment located in the Grit Room and in the Filter Room; all within the WPCF. Consultant to submit necessary DNR permit forms for the wastewater system approvals.
