1. Removal and Disposal: The Contractor shall be responsible for dismantling and safe disposal of all current gymnasium bleachers, including both upper and lower sections, while ensuring minimal disruption to school activities. The floor bleachers measure 90 feet in length and balcony bleachers are 96 feet long. 2. Compliance Reporting: The Contractor shall be responsible for providing weekly submission of the Davis Bacon wage report to the Federal Programs Director (Julia Sells, julia.sells@yaidragons.com), throughout the project duration. The selected Contractor shall provide the Federal Programs Director the Davis Bacon worker classifications that likely will be used on the project and the expected hourly wages of those classifications. 3. Bleacher Installation: The Contractor shall supply and install new bleachers in York’s gymnasium in accordance with the following criteria; a. All materials used shall be new and installation of all equipment must be ADA compliant and in compliance with all state building codes. b. Bleachers shall need to have self-storing aisle and end rails included. e. Contractor shall provide protection of all gym floors during installation and takedown and shall not damage any school property in performance under this agreement. f. After completion of the project, Contractor shall provide comprehensive cleanup post installation, leaving no excess materials, tools, or debris on school property. 4. Financial Considerations: Pricing for this bid shall include for costs related to all work performed including, removal, material, freight, and installation. 5. Safety and Compliance Inspection: The Contractor shall conduct a comprehensive preinspection, including an electrical inspection to ensure compatibility for all new bleachers with York’s existing infrastructure. Contractor shall also conduct a post-installation, including a comprehensive safety inspection with York to ensure all bleachers are installed correctly and meet all local building codes and safety standards. This should include load testing and stability checks. Contractor shall provide York with any report generated from such inspection.
