Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Rock Hill Police Department is requesting bids for a 3D Laser Scanner, Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), and accompanying software to be used by the Department to obtain crime and collision scene data points and scene images accurately and quickly. The Laser Scanner will be used by the Forensic Services Unit to recreate, analyze, and visualize crime and accident scene data. The 3D laser scanning system will increase the efficiency and accuracy of crime and accident scene investigations thus creating superior evidence for legal proceedings. 3D Laser Scanner specifications include: • no annual calibration requirement • self-calibrating and leveling • survey grade accuracy of data collected • minimum two-year warranty • tablet and push button workflow
