Specifications include, but are not limited to: The scope of work for this project will involve routing and crack sealing the streets listed above as well as the removal and replacement of various small pavement patch sections within the streets where failure has begun. These areas are marked in the field and shall be verified in the field before patching work begins. A public works employee shall be assigned to the crew and shall inspect daily. It is noted that a large patch on Buffalo Soldier Trail (near 7th Street) is also included within the scope and is listed as a separate item in the bid sheet. This last patch will have thicker asphalt and base than the other patches. Appendix B of these specifications contains estimated quantities for patching per Street. Once patching is completed, two (2) coats of sand seal shall be applied (see Section 19). It is noted that a product called Liquid Road by Seal Master is the pre- approved sand seal product. Streets that need to be sand sealed are included on the attached maps for this project. During the construction of this project, it is noted that the Contractor will be responsible for notifications of construction to local businesses and residences. These tasks are more specifically outlined in Section 10 of these specifications.
