Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Removals: excavation common, landscaping, existing asphalt parking lot/sport court, clearing and grubbing and existing site amenities. • Erosion Control: Erosion mat, turbidity barrier, silt fence maintenance, sediment logs, and stormwater swales. • Site Improvements: Concrete sidewalk improvements, detectable warning fields, thickened edge concrete sidewalk, asphalt parking lot paving, curb and gutter, pavement marking, dense grade base, park benches, stone block benches, picnic tables, bike racks, bollards, ADA playground, ADA splashpad, park sign, site memorial, sport court with chain-link fence and basketball hoop, and site signage. • Electrical: Electrical service, site lighting and underground conduit. • Utilities: • New water service, salvage and reinstall hydrant, and service connection • New electrical service and connection • Stormwater area and trench drains, Nyloplast structures and bio-infiltration basins • Directional boring under DNR Trail Building: 1) Core Shelter: The building includes restrooms, utility chase and splashpad utility chase. Building will have concrete foundations, masonry walls and sloped wood roof trusses. 2) Shelter Upgrades: optional enclosed gathering room, and proposed metal roofing. • Site and Turf Restoration: Site and turf restoration, plantings, general site cleanup and amenities installed. • Proposed Schedule: tentatively award the work by March 4, 2024. Substantial project completion is desired for seeding by late September 2024 and for the building and other work by mid-May 2025.
