Eastern Kentucky University is requesting bids for Charter Flights for four (4) round trips: Dates of Charters: Times: TBD 1) Departing Flight on August 30th, 2024, from Bluegrass Airport (LEX) to Tupelo Regional Airport (TPU). Return Flight on August 31st, 2024 (after game) from Tupelo Regional Airport (TPU) to Bluegrass Airport (LEX). 2) Departing Flight on September 27th, 2024, from Bluegrass Airport (LEX) to East Texas Regional Airport (GGG). Return Flight on September 28th, 2024 (after game) from East Texas Regional Airport (GGG) to Bluegrass Airport (LEX). 3) Departing Flight on November 1st, 2024, from Bluegrass Airport (LEX) to Perot Field Fort Worth Alliance Airport (AFW). Return Flight on November 2nd, 2024 (after game) from Perot Field Fort Worth Alliance Airport (AFW) to Bluegrass Airport (LEX). 4) Departing Flight on November 15th, 2024, from Bluegrass Airport (LEX) to Abilene Regional Airport Description (ABI). Return Flight on November 16th, 2024 (after game) from Abilene Regional Airport (ABI) to Bluegrass Airport (LEX). 1) The successful bidder understands and agrees that all required trips shall originate and conclude at the Bluegrass Airport in Lexington, Kentucky (LEX). 2) The successful bidder must provide a single airplane which is capable of transporting at least one hundred eighty (180) passengers per trip plus luggage and football equipment. 3) The successful bidder must ensure that all aircraft and the operators of such aircraft are both licensed and insured in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations for the purpose set forth herein. 4) The successful bidder must provide the University Procurement Department a copy of the Certificate of Insurance regarding flight along with a copy of the air worthiness certificate for the airplane being used. 5) The Carrier/Agent will be expected to provide charter services in a clean, safe, efficient and lawful manner and in so doing, shall fully comply with all applicable statues, Federal Laws, municipal ordinances and FAA regulations. Further, Carrier/Agency must acknowledge that the COVID-19 pandemic is an evolving situation and will be expected to work with the University to implement protocols to ensure the safety of all University passengers. 6) Carrier to provide in-flight charter coordinator. 7) Aircraft must be in position 2 hours prior to scheduled departure. 8) Aircraft must be scheduled to remain overnight with the team. 9) Aircraft only scheduled to fly 1 team per aircraft. 10) Min # of years in business: 10
