Specifications include, but are not limited to: Air Compressor Quarterly / Semi-Annual Services to be Performed - Services to be performed, in conjunction w/Pre-Operational Visual Inspection. 1 Check overall appearance for loose parts, leaks, loose wires, etc. 2 Tighten nuts, cap screws, etc., as required. 3 Check entire system for air leakage around fittings, connections, and gaskets, using soap solution and brush. 4 Check belts for correct tightness and wear, and replace as needed. 5 Check and clean compressor valve plates as required. 6 Change, replace and dispose of compressor oil and all filters (breather and air, as required), and replace oil filter element. 7 Open and drain liquids from tank, and/or check automatic drain valve for proper operation. Air Dryer Quarterly Services to be Performed - Arrow Dryer, Model F-125 (AASF, McEntire Old Apache Hanger) • Clean Drain and Filter Element, to include cleaning of the sintered bronze element with kerosene and remove strainer screen in ball valve assembly with compressed air or water, per manufacturer’s recommendations. 2 For Aurora Dryer, RDV models (CSMS, Bldg 500, AASF, McEntire New Hanger and FMS #6) complete the following(Quarterly), per manufacturer’s recommendations; • Clean the condenser with a compressed air jet. • Remove and clean separator element within moisture separator/filter. 3 For Champion, Model CRN75A1 (AASF, Donaldson Center) air dryer, complete the following: • Clean accumulated dust and dirt form condenser coil using a compressed air jet. 4 For Great Lakes Air, EDR-A1-11 (FMS #5, Rock Hill) complete the following per manufacturer’s recommendations: • Verify proper operation of the solenoid and auto float drain system. • Verify refrigeration analyzer gauge is in the correct range. • Verify operation of both cooling fans. • Clean refrigeration condenser coil by blowing dust and dirt from the inside of the cabinet out (Opposite from normal air flow). • Clean Precooler coil by blowing dust and dirt from the inside of the cabinet up and out (Opposite from normal air flow). • Isolate the valve prior to the Solenoid drain system and remove and clean the strainer screen. • Replace auto float drain on internal separator and filter element of inline filters. 5 For Saylor-Beall SBR/HT (FMS #3, Hemingway & FMS #11, Hartsville) complete the following per manufacturer’s recommendations; • Remove and clean with soap and water the ambient air filter. Let dry before reinstalling. • Clean inlet Strainer. • Clean separator element of the automatic condensate drain.
