Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. System Components – Advanced Birthing Simulator Dark Skin Tone 1.1 Bidder’s proposal shall provide a detailed discussion regarding its simulator technical specifications and abilities related to birth management, but not limited to the following: 1.1.1 Bidder’s system must have the ability to provide simulated learning experiences such as deliveries, airway management, pelvis anatomy, circulation, vascular, cardiac, birth with real-time performance feedback (real life ability for shoulder dystocia, breech, and C-section delivery), and movement such as seizure activity, interactive and tracking eyes, and positioning of simulator mannequin. 1.1.2 Bidder’s system must provide a preloaded tablet PC with the control software for the simulator to receive wireless commands. (MANDATORY) 1.1.3 Bidder’s system must provide a virtual patient monitor on an “all-in-one” PC. (MANDATORY) 1.1.4 Bidder’s system must provide education requirements of nursing and provide real monitoring wirelessly and tetherless. (MANDATORY) 1.1.5 Bidder’s system must use a combination of Bluetooth and radiofrequency wireless control capability. 1.1.6 Bidder’s system must have the following abilities: C-section capabilities, interchangeable abdomens, flat belly capable, umbilical cords, placenta, epidural insertion, noninvasive blood pressure cuff ability, and the ability to present a firm/boggy uterus post-partum. (MANDATORY) 1.1.7 Bidder’s system must prepare learners to recognize and respond to potential high-risk births and postpartum complication such as postpartum hemorrhage. 1.1.8 Bidder’s system must include interchangeable abdominal covers to include: contraction and fetal hear sounds abdomen, palpation abdomen, post-partum abdomen, C-Section abdomen, and non-pregnant abdominal cover gynecology package. 1.1.9 Bidder’s system must interface with real medical equipment such as TOCO monitors, pulse oximeter, EKG, defibrillator, capnometer, and NIBP without the need for proprietary adjuncts. 1.1.10 Bidder’s birthing mechanism must be fully mechanical and automatic rather than pneumatic. 1.1.11 Bidder’s system must include an array of internal sensors to measure rotation of fetal head and pull force in real-time. 1.1.12 Bidder’s system must have sensors for suprapubic pressure, McRoberts, and Gaskin maneuver detection. 1.1.13 Bidder’s system must have interactive eyes with automatic visual object tracking and lifelike eye movements. 1.1.14 Bidder’s system must provide a robotic birthing baby with programmable heart and lung sounds, crying, cyanosis, and robotic head movement for APGAR assessment (MANDATORY) 1.1.15 The baby can achieve cyanosis, crying with adjustable volume, and heart and lung sounds for APGAR scoring immediately upon birth. 2. System Components – Newborn simulator Dark Skin Tone 2.1 Bidder’s proposal shall provide a detailed discussion regarding their simulator technical specifications and abilities related to a full-term neonatal newborn patient, but not limited to the following: 2.1.1 Bidder’s system must provide a high-fidelity newborn with active robotics, including: programmable movement of all four limbs, mouth, and eyes. (MANDATORY) 2.1.2 Bidder’s system must provide a preloaded tablet PC with the control software for the simulator to receive wireless commands. (MANDATORY) 2.1.3 Bidder’s system must provide education requirements of nursing and provide real monitoring wirelessly and tetherless. (MANDATORY) 2.1.4 Bidder’s system must have the following abilities: seizure ability, airway management, spontaneous breathing ability with visible rise and fall of chest, stridor, wheezing, etc., pneumothorax functionality; cardiac functions such as real ECG Monitoring, defibrillation, capnography, blood pressure and pulse oximetry. (MANDATORY) 2.1.5 Circulatory functions such as circumoral and peripheral cyanosis, fontanelle, brachial and umbilical pulses, vascular access such as IV arms, umbilical veins and arteries, intramuscular injection sites; digestive abilities such as urinary catheterization and bowel sounds. (MANDATORY) 2.1.6 Bidder’s system must use a combination of Bluetooth and radiofrequency wireless control capability. (MANDATORY) 2.1.7 Bidder’s system must provide a virtual patient monitor on an “all-in-one” PC. (MANDATORY)
