Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor shall: 4.1 Schedule the visit in advance with the ASPHL by calling the appropriate personnel or 602-542-1188, which is the ASPHL's main number. 4.2 Observe and obey all posted safety rules and visitor protocols of the ASPHL and RML while on-site. 4.3 Act as the single point of contact to which all requests for services are submitted. The Contractor is responsible for contacting any subcontractor necessary to perform the services needed. 4.4 Be available Monday through Friday from 8:00 am through 5:00 pm, with the exception of State Holidays (see Exhibit One (1)) and shall respond to all service calls within two (2) business days. 4.5 Provide the needed services on the Microscopes including, but not limited to, the items listed in the List of Equipment being Serviced (see Exhibit Two (2)). 4.6 Provide one (1) complete annual preventive maintenance visit for Microscopes as requested and scheduled by ASPHL and RML: 4.6.1 Perform complete inspection and provide written inspection report, 4.6.2 Clean all exterior surfaces of the instrument and peripheral devices, 4.6.3 Inspect and clean all optical elements, including: 4.6.3.1 Eyepieces; 4.6.3.2 Objectives; 4.6.3.3 Substage condenser elements; 4.6.3.4 Polarizers; and 4.6.3.5 Analyzers. 4.6.4 Peripheral devices, including: 4.6.4.1 Mirrors; 4.6.4.2 Collector lenses; 4.6.4.3 Relay lenses; 4.6.4.4 Camera couplers; and 4.6.4.5 Digital camera interfaces. 4.6.5 Check and adjust parfocality, as needed, 4.6.6 Check and adjust parcentricity (polarization microscopes) as needed, 4.6.7 Clean and lubricate stage drives, focusing mechanisms, bearing tracks, and all sliding wear surfaces (dovetails, gliding stages, etc.) as needed, 4.6.8 Clean, adjust, and center illumination system, 4.6.9 Inspect, clean, and align epifluorescence system (if so equipped), 4.6.10 Optimize Koehler illumination (if so equipped), and 4.6.11 Center and parfocalize photo and video systems (if so equipped)...
