Specifications include, but are not limited to: Tracked Excavators - (Regions 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5) x Each excavator shall come with a digging bucket. x Some excavators shall come with a digging bucket and a tilt swivel clean up bucket as requested by MaineDOT. x Excavators shall have a strobe light. x Excavators shall be equipped with street pads. x Excavators shall come with an identified, manufacturer approved lifting point. If the lifting point is located on the bucket, all buckets must be equipped. Tracked Excavators with Hydraulic Hammer (Regions 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5) x Excavators with operating weight between 20,000 pounds and 30,000 pounds shall come equipped with a hydraulic hammer with chisel or point, of not less than 1,200 LB, which is well matched for breaking ledge in roadside ditches and outcrops. x Excavators with operating weight between 30,000 pounds and 40,000 pounds shall come equipped with a hydraulic hammer with chisel or point, of not less than 4,500 LB, which is well matched for breaking ledge in roadside ditches and outcrops. x Excavators with operating weight greater than 40,000 pounds shall come equipped with a hydraulic hammer with chisel or point, of not less than 5,500 LB, which is well matched for breaking ledge in roadside ditches and outcrops. x Excavators shall have a strobe light. x Excavators shall be equipped with street pads. Tracked Excavators with Hydraulic Vibratory Sheet Pile Drivers (Regions 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5) x Excavators operating weight shall be not less than 20,000 pounds and not more than 30,000 pounds. x Excavator shall come equipped with a hydraulic vibratory sheet pile driver. x Excavators shall have a strobe light. x Excavators shall be equipped with street pads.
