Specifications include, but are not limited to: 13.1.1.1. Vendor shall provide new paint as defined in the specifications and all materials and labor necessary to complete the project. This may include but is not limited to the paint, painters’ tape, drop cloths, rollers, brushes, man lift, and scaffolding. 13.1.1.2. Vendor shall complete all work in a neat, professional, and industry standard. All work shall be done in a manner that meets commercial quality and manufacturer standards. 13.1.1.3. Vendor must use appropriate painting methods and use caution to avoid paint spills, runs and/or drips. Vendor must not get paint on carpet, doors, equipment, trim, or windows and will be responsible to repair or replace damaged items at Vendor’s cost. Vendor must use drop cloths, painters tape, and any other professional methods and techniques in order to protect surfaces and equipment. 13.1.1.4. Vendor shall verify all dimensions prior to bidding. Agency shall not be responsible for inaccurate measurements and Vendor must complete project as bid. Vendor may not ask for additional compensation for material shortages due to a miscalculation, shortage, or workmanship issues. 13.1.1.5. Vendor shall prepare existing walls and trim to accept new paint as recommended by product manufacturer and any existing building codes for painting procedures. This process shall include patching chips or holes in the walls prior to painting and may include using a primer product if necessary. Vendor shall remove outlet and receptacle covers and may not just paint around these items.
