Specifications include, but are not limited to: The SC Department of Probation, Parole & Pardon Services (SCDPPPS) is issuing this solicitation on behalf of the SCDPPPS, South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice (SCDJJ), and the South Carolina Department of Corrections (SCDOC) or collectively referred to as “the State” will be the only customers using the resulting contract from this solicitation. The primary purpose of this RFP is to identify and select a contractor that will provide an ankle global positioning system (GPS) monitoring technology to be used as a supervision tool for sanctions and alternative reporting methods. This technology is intended to increase state efficiency to devote more time to high risk populations while holding offenders accountable. This technology may also be used as a graduated method to address violations.
