Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2.2 PROJECT DESCRIPTION Lehi City Parks Division is currently looking for a qualified contractor to provide mowing services of native grasses for select Lehi City parks and detention basins. The document titled “List of Mowing Areas 2024” has been provided to detail the parks and detention basins, including the square footage of mowing area, that will be included in this RFP. 2.3 SCOPE OF WORK The City of Lehi is accepting bids for mowing native grass in areas specified in the “List of Mowing Areas 2024” document. The mowing covers approximately #### square feet of area. The work consists of furnishing all labor, material, and equipment to perform all work required to mow the native grass at a height not less than 6”. Areas that cannot be mowed because of steep grade can be trimmed down to acceptable height. Additional work will include trimming around trees and edging where needed. The contractor shall perform a physical walkthrough of the area to be maintained before any work is performed to remove all garbage and debris before mowing. In addition, it will be expected that areas shall be cleaned after mowing by blowing off hard surfaces and removing grass if needed for appearance. For this project, Lehi City is asking for a price per mowing. It is anticipated that each area will require mowing two times per year (June, October). Although certain areas may require more or less frequent mowing. The mowing schedule will be determined on an as needed basis between the contractor and Lehi City.
