Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this project is to reclaim the current basketball court located at Peckham Park so that it is more functional and usable for future use. The current court does not allow for uninterrupted basketball play. The current court has several cracks running in different directions throughout the court, which have been temporarily filled with an asphalt-based crack filler. People engaging in practice or a game of basketball expect a smooth surface for movement and dribbling, however our court has unexpected cracks which leaves the court undesirable. Additionally, we would like to make the court more adaptable for other activities that require a smooth, flat surface. In addition to creating a new surface, we would like to have standard lines painted for full court basketball.
