Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Scheduling and setting agendas for meetings with RIPUC staff; • Communicating with RIPUC staff about progress and soliciting direction and feedback from RIPUC staff; • Meet with RIPUC staff to gain a precise understanding of the purpose and elements of the report and to define which jurisdiction will be included in the review provided in Element 1 of the report; • Presenting a draft rough outline of the entire report, as described above in Section A: Background to staff for discussion and initial validation; • Scheduling a public meeting and presenting an approved draft outline of the report to stakeholders, taking input from the public on the outline, and developing a final outline with staff (remote attendance to achieve cost savings is encouraged); • Researching all issues in Element 1 of the report listed above in Section A: Background (the specific elements may change at the mutual agreement of the vendor and staff); • Writing a draft of Element 1 and revising with input from RIPUC staff; • Presenting an initial detailed outline of Element 2 to RIPUC staff for discussion and initial validation, with a focus on the consideration and adoption of recommendations; • Researching whether aspects that enable microgrid integration in other jurisdictions exist in Rhode Island including interviewing key experts and/or stakeholders if necessary; • Writing a draft of Element 2 and revising with input for RIPUC staff; • Publishing the final report; • If requested, presenting the report to the RIPUC at public meeting (remote attendance to achieve cost savings will be considered).
