Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Site Work a. The site is located on an existing Louisville Metro owned property located at 4201 Algonquin Parkway. The site is currently being utilized as the LMPD Training Campus. b. Provide new 4” thick concrete sidewalk on 4” compacted DGA around the entire building as noted on bridging drawings. c. Design-Builder set the elevation of the finish floor slab at an elevation that is 6” minimum above the surrounding finish grade at the asphalt parking lot. Contractor to grade site to provide positive slope away from the building such that storm water will not pond within 30 feet of the building perimeter or anywhere on the property. All downspouts from the building are to terminate at finish grade and subsequent storm water flow from downspouts are to be directed away from the building into the storm water system. d. The existing training campus will maintain its full operations during the construction of the new TAC2 building. A such the Contractor cannot imped the flow of LMPD traffic within the confines of the campus. The Contractor must protect the construction site from intruders using temporary fencing as required. e. The Design-Build Team will be provided an ALTA site survey to aid them in the site development (Attached with RFP for information purposes only). All site work must comply with Louisville Metros requirements and must be in compliance with all MSD requirements for sanitary sewers and storm water runoff, detention or retention as the required by MSD. f. The Design-Build Team will be provided a subsurface soils investigation report for their use in the design of the building foundation and to establish seismic requirements. (Attached with RFP for information purposes only) g. Seed all disturbed areas with a local grass such as Kentucky Bluegrass or Tall Fescue. All seeded areas are to be prepared by removing all paving, stones, crushed stone sub grade, etc. and provide with minimum of 6” of topsoil prior to the seeding of the areas. Provide all required but minimum landscaping as required by Louisville Metro. h. All site work is to be designed by a civil engineer licensed in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. i.
