Specifications include, but are not limited to: This contract solicitation is to: 1. Replace the existing standing fence wire with new wire. 2. Old wire will be repurposed as skirting material and reattached to the new wire using supplied 9 gauge hog rings. This skirt will over lap bottom two squares of new, standing fence 3. Utilize and install provided 8’ Max Y posts at all “protruding push corners” and brace with existing T-post. All concave pull corners will be tied back within the unit. 4. When possible, reutilize existing t-posts along fenceline. If t-posts are degraded or nonoperational, replace with provided t-posts. Area is rocky. Max Y posts and potentially some tposts may require drills to install. 5. Anchor skirt as needed so that skirt is not floating. 20” construction form pins are currently on site. A variety of anchors could also be provided- including eye bolts, deadmen, etc. Skirt will be put on the outside of the fenced unit. 6. Fence corridor has been in place for 20 years. It has been recently brushed. Minimal clearing should be required 7. Fence taken down each day will have to replaced same day. The unit currently has minimal ungulates inside and further encroachment of animals is unacceptable. 8. Fence corridor area must remain clear of tripping hazards. All tiebacks should be interior of the fence unit. Any pins, deadmen, or other anchors must be flush or cut flush with the ground. Existing tripping hazards should be cut, or redrilled and driven inside of unit to minimize tripping hazards
