Specifications include, but are not limited to: 4.1 Contractor must provide latent fingerprint technical reviews and/or latent fingerprint verification according to the procedures and policies described in the Pima County Sheriff's Department (PCSD) Latent Print Standard Operating Procedures manual, along with the generally accepted professional standards and methodologies. 4.2 Contractor and/or Contractor’s personnel will be required to pass a PCSD background check to include a drug screen and possible polygraph examination. The background check, drug screening and polygraph exam will be conducted at no cost to Contractor. These requirements may be waived at the discretion of PCSD. 4.3 Contractor must provide latent fingerprint reviews and verifications on an as-needed basis. When required by PCSD, Contractor must be on-site to provide services a minimum of two times per month. 4.4 Contractor must coordinate with PCSD personnel to schedule date and times of service. Schedule of services, including time and frequency of service will vary based on the needs of PCSD. 4.5 Contractor must provide services on-site at the PCSD Forensic Unit office, unless otherwise approved by PCSD. 4.6 Contractor must be able to complete technical review and/or verification within 24 hours when work is deemed a rush by PCSD. Services provided by Contractor for rush work may be either performed on-site or through electronic transfer of fingerprint images and reports. 4.7 For rush work being performed remotely, the documents needed for Contractor to perform review and/or verification will be sent by PCSD via an electronic method that meets PCSD’s security requirements. Contractor will need a computer/printer/scanner to receive and print documents, perform the review/verification and scan and return the documents to PCSD via a PCSD approved electronic method. When services are performed off-site, Contractor’s personnel must provide signature on original documents on their next on-site visit.
