Specifications include, but are not limited to: Your proposal is expected to include services of: • Annual independent audit to be completed in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards. • Federal single audits when required. • Assist the City in preparation of the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) in the form necessary to continue to receive the Government Finance Officers Association Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting award. With the City’s help your preparation services will include preparing the basic financial statements, including conversion entries, notes to the financial statements, required supplementary information, and supplementary information. You will also review city prepared sections of the ACFR. • Meetings with the Budget & Finance Committee and City Council. • Provide technical advice throughout the year, including but not limited to, guidance on implementations of new GASB accounting standards.
