Specifications include, but are not limited to: The scope of work includes a roof recovering over an existing metal roof with roof overlay purlins and new standing seam metal roof on the IPI warehouse building at the Mt. Pleasant Correctional Facility. The total roof area is approximately 16,500 sq. ft. Work scope on the roof consists of partial removal of existing perimeter trim, installation of retrofit overlay purlins scribed to fit over the existing metal roof panels, and installation of new standing seam metal roof panels. Trim work includes fasciaís, rake enclosures, metal trim, and flashings. Existing gutters and downspouts will be removed and replaced, a ridge ventilator will be removed, existing inside insulation will be patched and partially replaced with liner faced insulation, Five rooftop unit air intake vents will have existing roof curbs removed and replaced with taller curbs. Metal roof panels will be structural panels 16î or 18î wide with 2î vertical leg.
