Specifications include, but are not limited to: NCSD is not seeking a standalone lit fiber circuit nor are they seeking a standalone Internet access only service (with no transport). NCSD is seeking a bundled Internet Access service (IA and associated transport). This service is to be delivered to the Newton High School at 800 E 4th St S, Newton IA 50208 and to the Technology Center at 1320 1st Ave W, Newton, IA 50208. NCSD seeks bids for Internet at the following capacities: 2 Gbps to 10 Gbps at each location. NCSD also requests bid options for one year, two and three year contracts. Interested vendors should also provide the following information in their bids: (a) Indicate the type of connectivity (e.g. fiber, coaxial, microwave, etc.); (b). Indicate whether E-Rate C1 eligible bundled firewall is provided; (c). Identify any E-Rate ineligible charges (such as DDoS). Library reserves the right to cancel this request for bids and to reject all related proposals. In addition, the internet will include a minimum (1) Gbps of bandwidth including a /28 block of IPv4 addresses.
