Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Type of Structure a. The Project is to design and construct a Central Kitchen facility, including all associated on-site improvements and connection to utilities and storm drainage, required for the Project. This Project is to be a turn-key Project to the DOE, that is complete, usable, and a fully operational facility. 2. Size and Capacity a. The Central Kitchen Project will consist of an approximately 18,000 s.f. single story building with surface parking. A complete and fully operational Central Kitchen facility will include: Space and equipment for meal preparation, cooking, and assembly Dry and cold storage (including freezers) Loading dock for inbound and outbound ingredients and meals All equipment required for a fully functioning facility Office space, locker rooms, and restrooms for staff and visitors Mechanical and electrical services spaces
