Specifications include, but are not limited to: Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) seeks proposals from qualified professional firms to provide the District with Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (“DPI”) licensed occupational therapists (“OTs”), occupational therapist assistants (“OTAs”), physical therapists (“PTs”), and physical therapist assistants (“PTAs”) on an as-needed basis to provide student-specific therapy services as identified in Individual Education Programs (“IEPs”) or Section 504 plans. OTs and PTs with a minimum of one-year of experience in school-based practice are preferred. The therapy services to be provided include: evaluation, development of an IEP with meaningful and measurable goals, development of an intervention plan, direct and indirect therapeutic interventions, attendance at IEP-team meetings, consultation with staff members, and all related documentation.
