Specifications include, but are not limited to:TheContractorshall provide all materials, tools, equipment, labor,supervision, coordination, permit and engineering design support as may be necessary to complete the work contained in the contract documents: Jackson Substation Improvements. In general terms, the Work includes, but is not limited to, the following items: 1. Traction Power Substation (Jackson South) Upgrade: a. Remove and replace three existing transformer-rectifier units and add one additional transformer-rectifier unit. b. Remove and replace existing AC and DC switchgear. c. Reconfigure existing open disconnect switches and add new open air disconnect switches. d. Remove and replace existing control power system. e. Remove and replace two 12kV utility feeds and utility equipment. f. Provide SCADA system and integration. g. Upgrade existing bathroom and provide water and sewer. h. Remove and replace facility low-voltage electrical and mechanical equipment, including HVAC. 2. Light and Power Building (Jackson North): a. Provide a building complete with lighting and HVAC. b. Provide two 12 kV utility feeds and associated equipment. c. Provide 12 kV switchgear with bus ties. d. Provide two 12 kV transformers. e. Provide 4.16 kV ac switchgear with bus ties. f. Provide 4.16 kV transformer. g. Provide 2.4 kV switchgear. h. Provide 4.16 kV and 2.4 kV disconnect switches. i. Provide control power system. j. Provide SCADA system and integration. 3. Right-of-Way: a. Provide new DC feeder cables and duct bank between substation and OCS. b. Provide utility and street improvements. 4. The Contractor shall perform all work integral to the final design, construction, and testing of the Work.
